Hi, I’m Mandy DiCapo, R.D.M.S., and my love for ultrasound started in the most personal way—through my own pregnancies! While expecting my two boys, I was completely captivated by every scan. I would watch in awe, first amazed by my baby on the screen (even though the sonographers couldn’t tell me much!), and then fascinated by everything else that could be seen with this incredible technology.
I couldn’t get enough! I asked the sonographers endless questions about their work, then went home and researched everything we talked about. That curiosity quickly turned into a passion, leading me to earn my bachelor’s degree at MTSU and complete my ultrasound training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Now, as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer, I get to share this passion by making ultrasound more accessible, convenient, and personal for families and healthcare providers.
